knowhat | OOC Intro Mingle

Welcome to Knowhere, everyone! This post serves two purposes - to have everyone OOCly introduce themselves to everyone else and to start plotting for the game's opening event! You won't be getting a full in-depth explanation of the plot until opening day, but what's wrong with a little taste?

PLOTTING
What we can tell you is that our opening event will be a week long and during that time the network will not be available - an action based log will be up at game's opening for the length of the event. It's primarily a combat oriented event, so if you have a character who can't defend themselves it's a great time to find someone who can and become fast friends. Don't worry though, what spirals out of this will require sharp minds instead of sharp weapons.

NPCs will not be available for questioning during the event, but one or two will pop up afterwards to handle any major questions characters might have.

INTRODUCE YOURSELVES
Exactly what it says! Tell us a bit about yourselves, how to contact you, what you're interested in, who you play, and so on and so forth. Mingle and get to know each other, work out some ideas for CR, whatever!

Here's a handy textarea of stuff to copy and paste if you need a guide! All the things are optional and you don't even have to use what we've provided if you don't want to.

I share your vacation first week of game woes. ;~; I am not canon familiar but sounds like Drift and Annabeth have swords in common! He'd also be curious about her pantheon since he's kinda into spirituality right now.

Also serious thumbs up to TV shows with awesome ladies! :D

i'll have some internet access, but lmao then i'm road tripping from colorado to new york SO IT'LL BE A BIT HARD. but oooh, she could and would easily talk about her pantheon forever (and be super biased towards her mother but you know). and her sword is actually pretty new to her, she usually carries a knife c:

I know the feeling. I'll be in the mountains with two bars of phone signal and a crowded lodge with pubic wifi as my options. I doubt that will stop me from trying though LOL!

NGL I bet Drift would be impressed with Athena. And he's is not classically trained in sword, he's more self taught, but practicing could still be a thing! He's even got a human avatar he can use. Plus his mentor Wing is here, who has LOADS of sword training.

And OH I know this feeling. I can do it if the characterizations are really good, but nothing beats great ladies. They're usually what elevates a series into the fav spot for me.

i'll be with friends who don't really know/do the rp thing SO YOU KNOW :'| internet stuff on the dl, which is a little harder haha

annabeth has been training for about ten years :'D she's good with most weapons, but knives are her best. she might not be so open about this right off the bat, but it could def be worked for.

yes that is mostly much me too. most of my favorite characters tend to be the ladies too B)b
