Welcome to Knowhere, everyone! This post serves two purposes - to have everyone OOCly introduce themselves to everyone else and to start plotting for the game's opening event! You won't be getting a full in-depth explanation of the plot until opening day, but what's wrong with a little taste?

PLOTTING
What we can tell you is that our opening event will be a week long and during that time the network will not be available - an action based log will be up at game's opening for the length of the event. It's primarily a combat oriented event, so if you have a character who can't defend themselves it's a great time to find someone who can and become fast friends. Don't worry though, what spirals out of this will require sharp minds instead of sharp weapons.

NPCs will not be available for questioning during the event, but one or two will pop up afterwards to handle any major questions characters might have.

INTRODUCE YOURSELVES
Exactly what it says! Tell us a bit about yourselves, how to contact you, what you're interested in, who you play, and so on and so forth. Mingle and get to know each other, work out some ideas for CR, whatever!

BRIEF SUMMARY OF CHARACTER(S): Setsuna is a magical girl who commands time/space magical girl known as Sailor Pluto. She's supposed to guard the gates of time, fight evil by moonlight, win love by daylight, the usual. She's smart, elegant, loves small children, and hates cockroaches. She is a lady but she can still kick your ass. Do not mess with her or she will bash you with her giant key...and then possibly fix your broken nose. She's also a lot older than she looks, so please don't ask her age.
PLOTTING: Uhm well, we're just starting so I am literally game for ANYTHING. Setsuna can be quiet/introverted so I will need all the help in dragging her out into public. She'll be living in the Green barracks, Room 09 with the other Soul Gem people yeah I bet you thought she'd get TIME or SPACE, huh? Please make friends with her, she's super nice.

I loved the original, so I get why people were meh about the PG-13 rating, but there's only one Paul Verhoeven and even the original canon sequels fell short of his film (especially RoboCop 3, the film we do not speak of). All that said, I liked it! It was a good story that moved along well, had a bunch of great characters (I am partial to Gary Oldman's character), and Joel looks ridiculously hot in black body armor. breathless from nerdery

I'm mostly familiar any DC/Marvel animated series (loved EMH, was a total fan of Young Justice, Justice League, 90s Marvel, etc.). I've dabbled in the comics a bit in that I have read Young Avengers and a few Hawkeye things. I also have a New Avengers novel that was a great read. I probably have more comic knowledge than I'm letting on because I've read a lot of wiki stuff and/or have RPed with Marvel/DC people in the past. BIG fan of the MCU. Also I have recently started collecting Fables (which is not DC/Marvel but soooo good).

So I guess sort of all of the above |D Comics I am mainly limited on being intimidated on where to start or knowing what is worth picking up. :)

I will throw Setsuna at everyone. She may not like it but I certainly will! So, yes, do that!

my name is tomato, and i'm here with just annabeth chase from heroes of olympus atm! she's fresh from the end of house of hades and thus you know a survivor of tartarus, good times. she's got the reality gem with illusions! annabeth is a seventeen year old demigod daughter of athena, which makes her hella smart and kind of haughty sometimes, but she means well, really!

and she also super excellent in combat (and in possession of a sword made of bone), relevant to opening event interests?? (though side note - i'll be a little slow during the first week of the game, sigh, i'll be on vacation) but she will easily help others if needed, or team up with people to fight too! c:

pjo and orphan black are probably my biggest jams rn but i'm also a giant history nerd who wavers between modern history and ancient rome/greece (mostly rome). i read a lot of ya lit and watch a lot of tv shows with awesome ladies.
