Welcome to Knowhere, everyone! This post serves two purposes - to have everyone OOCly introduce themselves to everyone else and to start plotting for the game's opening event! You won't be getting a full in-depth explanation of the plot until opening day, but what's wrong with a little taste?

PLOTTING
What we can tell you is that our opening event will be a week long and during that time the network will not be available - an action based log will be up at game's opening for the length of the event. It's primarily a combat oriented event, so if you have a character who can't defend themselves it's a great time to find someone who can and become fast friends. Don't worry though, what spirals out of this will require sharp minds instead of sharp weapons.

NPCs will not be available for questioning during the event, but one or two will pop up afterwards to handle any major questions characters might have.

INTRODUCE YOURSELVES
Exactly what it says! Tell us a bit about yourselves, how to contact you, what you're interested in, who you play, and so on and so forth. Mingle and get to know each other, work out some ideas for CR, whatever!

I know the feeling. I'll be in the mountains with two bars of phone signal and a crowded lodge with pubic wifi as my options. I doubt that will stop me from trying though LOL!

NGL I bet Drift would be impressed with Athena. And he's is not classically trained in sword, he's more self taught, but practicing could still be a thing! He's even got a human avatar he can use. Plus his mentor Wing is here, who has LOADS of sword training.

And OH I know this feeling. I can do it if the characterizations are really good, but nothing beats great ladies. They're usually what elevates a series into the fav spot for me.

It truly is a damn shame that Michael Bay is our big pop culture standard bearer these days. I'll take the cheesiness of G1 and the dated 80s animation over Bayverse any day. /facetohands Thankfully the comics are far better quality in story and characterization!

Hopefully we'll dig up some good stories for her to take home. Looking forward to getting started! :D

YOOOO EVERYONE i'm veronica and i never know what to say for these things. i have a plurk (it's hadal) and it's generally a travesty!! generally it ranges from health/food sustainability to screaming incoherently about (mostly marvel but also image) comics. i have a giant fluffy cat beast named pancake and he also makes guest appearances there. i like to watch terrible youtube documentaries and then get scared about aliens. general state of my life. i have also discovered swants.

so this is a pint-sized god of mischief. he's from that brief and wondrous time in journey into mystery where he was small and lovable and still a giant loser. he's generally pretty obnoxious and whimsy, will talk to anyone, will trick or lie his way out of anything, and is pretty good at pretending to be the bad guy! heeee is very well-intentioned, even though it doesn't usually come out right and he has a knack for getting into trouble. he's big into pop culture, but he has a little god-i-ness about him that makes everything a little more eccentric. he's at yellow 13 right now, and i'm sorry in advance.

AS FAR AS THE PLOT GOES HE GENERALLY HAS NO POWERS and uses his legs of great running to get away from things. it's possible that he'll need to be saved. even with his asgardian abilities he. um. he's more of a tricksy person. HE'S PRETTY SHARP, THOUGH, IF YOU NEED SOME RECKLESS BRAINS IN YOUR PARTY, HE'S YOUR GUY. (✿ﾉ◡‿◡)ﾉ *:･ﾟ

I'm Erica and I, too, suck at intros so I feel your pain. I do like that your fluffy cat beast is named Pancake. That's adorable.

I do not know much about Journey into Mystery, though I hear it is good and I did experience some of this version of Loki when I read Young Avengers. He looked fun in that. I am currently going to be playing Setsuna Meioh/Sailor Pluto and since she kinda has this soft spot for young kids I think they could potentially have an interesting relationship (even if he's not technically a young kid really). She can at least help save him with her magical girl powers, so there is that.
