Setsuna would want to relax a little after so much fighting. And yes, relaxing includes trying to fix a way too complex piece of technology.

She's got training in theoretical physics and probably a decent grounding in some of the other sciences (since after her stint as a student in that field she went on to also be a nurse at an elementary school). She's also a fast learner so will pick up on things quickly and is certainly VERY curious about the cortex and how it functions.
